Accessibility
Sofitrek's accessibility goal, design practices, known limitations, feedback process, and alternative ways to obtain information or support.
Sofitrek wants customers, engineers, buyers, and visitors with disabilities to be able to browse products, compare information, request quotes, manage accounts, and complete purchases.
Our current goal is to design and maintain the public website toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2, Level AA. This is a goal and engineering standard, not a claim that every page, document, or third-party service has been independently certified or fully conforms.
Accessibility practices
Sofitrek's design and development process aims to support:
- keyboard navigation without requiring a mouse;
- visible focus indicators;
- semantic headings, landmarks, tables, lists, buttons, and links;
- labels, instructions, and error messages for form controls;
- text alternatives for meaningful images;
- sufficient color contrast and information that is not conveyed by color alone;
- zoom and text resizing without unnecessary loss of content or function;
- responsive layouts for smaller screens and enlarged content;
- reduced-motion preferences where animation is not essential;
- clear page titles, link text, status messages, and validation feedback;
- accessible authentication, cart, checkout, account, support, and policy flows;
- captions, transcripts, or alternatives when Sofitrek publishes material audio or video content.
Automated checks cannot find every accessibility issue, so keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, contrast, and manual checks matter too.
Product data and technical tables
Electronic-component catalogs contain dense specification tables, part numbers, filters, and comparison controls. Sofitrek aims to provide meaningful headers, accessible names, logical reading order, keyboard operation, and alternatives for complex interactions.
Report a table, filter, quantity control, modal, or comparison tool that is difficult to operate. Include the category or product URL and the task you were trying to complete.
Documents and third-party content
Manufacturer datasheets, manuals, certificates, carrier pages, Stripe interfaces, maps, videos, and other third-party content may not meet the same accessibility standard and may be outside Sofitrek's control.
Some older PDF datasheets are scanned, poorly tagged, or difficult to use with assistive technology. When reasonably possible, Sofitrek will help locate an alternative document, provide the relevant product information in another format, or assist with the transaction.
Known limitations
Accessibility work is ongoing. Potential limitations can include:
- older or third-party PDF documents;
- dense catalog tables at very high zoom;
- third-party payment, carrier, address, or embedded interfaces;
- incomplete alternative text for older catalog images;
- pages that are not yet fully translated in some languages;
- a newly released feature before a manual assistive-technology review is complete.
Requesting assistance or an alternative format
Contact Sofitrek when a disability-related barrier prevents access to product information, an RFQ, account, checkout, order, return, policy, or support function.
We can work with you to provide information through another reasonable method, such as a structured email, plain-text summary, accessible document, or assisted transaction, without charging an accessibility fee.
Do not send payment-card details or account passwords by email. Sofitrek may need to use a secure method for account or transaction information.
Reporting an accessibility issue
Use the Contact and Help Center or email info@sofitrek.com with the subject "Accessibility."
Helpful details include:
- the page URL;
- the task you were trying to complete;
- what happened and what you expected;
- browser, operating system, and device;
- assistive technology and version, when you are comfortable sharing it;
- a screenshot or short recording that does not expose sensitive information.
Most requests are answered within one business day. We will aim to acknowledge the report, investigate it, provide a workaround when practical, and explain the resolution or remaining limitation.
Fair treatment
Sofitrek will not refuse service or provide worse terms because a person requests accessibility assistance or reports a barrier. Product availability, legal restrictions, payment, export review, and other ordinary transaction requirements still apply.
